🏔 challenge: “My business growth is stagnating, and I’m unsure of what brand efforts I need to change. I’m also a bit overwhelmed with all my ideas, but I want to invest in the right ones for ROI.” — purpose-driven entrepreneur

opportunity: First, acknowledging the problem is a huge first step. So many people keep their heads down, doing the same things over-and-over, expecting different results.

Cue Einstein … “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over expecting different results” (or something like that!).

A few first steps I’d encourage you to take >>

  • Reflect on your overall business strategy. Sometimes you don’t have a brand issue, you actually have a business issue. Maybe you’re trying to accomplish too much. Maybe you’re not solving the right problems. Get crystal clear on the root of the issue of your stagnation
  • Audit what hasn’t worked with your brand efforts. Stagnation is a good time to reflect on what hasn’t worked. I don’t like to call them mistakes, because everything serves a purpose. Be sure to dig down into the WHY it didn’t work out.
  • Talk to a former or current client. You’ll get major insights. People respect transparency — tell them your business is stagnating, you’re looking to grow, and you’d really appreciate their insights.

If you’re unsure where to start, the process of creating a strategic brand plan may be helpful for you.

That’s why we created our DIY mastercourse to help you zoom out, understand your way, and define a long-term trajectory. You can check it out here.

Stagnation can be really tough … I’ve been there, too. Remember that stagnation is a season, and every season is here to serve you.

And remember that you’re not alone.
